Fit
The fit of the women’s Vomero was modeled after that of the Pegasus to accommodate the unique shape of a woman’s foot. And, because women tend to have wider forefeet than men, the upper features women’s-specific Dynamic Fit windows that stretch to accommodate various widths. No-sew overlays through the forefoot provide a secure, seam-free fit, and stretch mesh panels help lock down the midfoot while stretching and flexing with it for comfort and support. An inner-sleeve, or bootie, lends a plush fit and feel.

Cushioning
Runners know and love the Vomero for its plush, responsive cushioning. Like its predecessor, the Zoom Vomero+ 5 features heel and forefoot Nike Zoom units, along with a full-length, soft midsole for responsive cushioning and durability.

Ride
For a smoother transition and cushioning when your heel hits the ground, this running shoe has a more segmented crash pad below the heel than earlier Vomeros. And areas of blown rubber on the outsole have been extended in the Vomero+ 5 to promote a smooth, efficient stride while enhancing cushioning.
